How to tag people and businesses via Willow

How to start tagging

The best way to start tagging people and businesses is to first write your full caption and then split your caption between the different channels. Once your captions are split, you can start tagging the appropriate person/business per social media channel.

Each platform however, has specific requirements, here's an overview.

LinkedIn

To tag a company on LinkedIn, you'll need the last part of their LinkedIn company page url. For example, www.willow.co/company/willowdotco. So, you'll type @willowdotco in your caption.

To tag a personal profile, there are two options. If the person is connected to your Willow account, you can type @ and type a few letters, then select "tag connected profile". if they are not connected, write @ and their full name. If the right person doesn't appear, copy the last part of person's url from LinkedIn. For example, www.linkedin.com/in/danté-boute-832b37293/. So, you'll type @danté-boute-832b37293 in your caption and then select the right person.

If nothing appears, try again from @.

Instagram

To tag someone on Instagram, just type @username.

Facebook

To tag a company on Facebook, write @ and type the name of the company. The company profile should appear in a list. Facebook does not allow you to tag people via Willow.

X

To tag someone on X, just type @username.
