When Fieldside started using Willow in August 2021, they were determined to be just as ambitious with social media marketing as they are with the rest of their business. As an IT group consisting of different companies with specialised competencies in custom application development, cloud infrastructure, and data analytics, they offer A-to-Z services. They approached their social media challenge with the same methodical, solution-oriented mindset they bring to every client's digital transformation journey.
Four years later they are still happy with the platform and their decision to partner with a local tech company.
A hands-on approach to content and growth
Jeroen Pets, who leads Fieldside's digital strategy, worked closely with Willow to build a solid foundation during the first few months. For the next year, the communication team worked closely with our Willow coaches to establish a publishing rhythm and optimise their social media presence.
By September 2022, Fieldside transitioned to working independently. The team had gained the skills and confidence to manage their content strategy in-house while continuing to use the Willow platform to streamline planning, publishing, and analytics.
The ease of use is still their main benefit. Since they started using Willow, the services group has continued to grow and the team now manages 11 LinkedIn pages, 5 Facebook pages, and an Instagram account. The centralised platform gives them a clear overview of every brand within the group and its respective social media channels.
Clear, measurable results
Since the start of their journey, Fieldside has seen strong results across the board. Here's an overview of their achievements for the Fieldside page in the past twelve months:

In a snapshot of six of Fieldside's daughter brands, all showed positive results across key metrics: audience growth, impressions, engagement, and content output.

Top-performing posts often reached dozens of clicks, highlighting a highly engaged audience. And the positive results reach beyond what's visible on the screen — even in a world that's slowly moving back to more in-person events, the social media efforts still deliver a positive impact:
What this means for Fieldside
These results reflect more than just content performance. They signal a stronger digital presence across the entire Fieldside ecosystem, making it easier to:
- Introduce their companies to potential clients
- Attract new talent in a competitive hiring market
- Share insights and updates across a wide range of platforms
- Strengthen the Fieldside brand as a unified group
With Willow by their side, Fieldside established a coordinated and scalable approach to social media. They now manage 17 social pages through Willow — and who knows how many new businesses will join the community in the years to come.
